Jakarta, 14 June 2023 – PT Mandiri Sekuritas (Mandiri Sekuritas/Company) won the awards for “Best Investment Bank in Indonesia”, “Best DCM House in Indonesia”, and “Best ECM House in Indonesia” from the 2023 FinanceAsia Awards. By winning this award again, Mandiri Sekuritas has been recognized as the best Investment Bank in Indonesia by FinanceAsia for 13 consecutive years.
Quoting FinanceAsia, although 2023 will still be a challenging year for the capital market industry and the economy is not fully recovered yet, financial institutions that have successfully overcome uncertainties and waves of volatility as well as always provided healthy, sustainable business performance deserves continual appreciation.

Mandiri Sekuritas won these three awards after maintaining its strong business growth in 2022. The company’s operating revenues increased by 32% as of 31 December 2022, supported by all business lines and consolidation between Mandiri Sekuritas subsidiaries; Mandiri Securities Pte. Ltd. (Mandiri Securities Singapore) and Mandiri Manajemen Investasi (Mandiri Investasi).
In addition, in 2022, Mandiri Sekuritas also managed to maintain its dominance in bond underwriting, both IDR and USD, and equity, and is currently still in the top position in the league table for equity underwriting in Indonesia, based on Bloomberg as of 31 May 2023. Mandiri Sekuritas also successfully completed many capital market and advisory transactions in 2022, including IPO, rights issues, secondary placement, IDR and USD bonds, liability, M&A advisory, and restructuring.

In 2022, Mandiri Sekuritas completed the largest capital market transaction in Indonesia, namely the IPO of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo) worth IDR 13.7 trillion, the largest IPO in Indonesia to date. In addition, we also successfully completed the restructuring of PT Garuda Indonesia, which is the largest restructuring transaction in Indonesia. In early 2023, Mandiri Sekuritas successfully completed the IPO of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGEO) worth IDR 9 trillion and the IPO of PT Trimegah Bangun Persada (NCKL) worth nearly IDR 10 trillion. On the retail side, we also continue to launch new digital services through the MOST trading platform to encourage individual customer growth,” Oki explained.
In addition to its business growth in Indonesia, Mandiri Sekuritas’ strong performance was also supported by its Asian regional reach from its subsidiary, Mandiri Securities Singapore, which successfully competed in the Global Bond market through global bond and liability management. Mandiri Securities Singapore successfully completed 10 liability management transaction and 5 Global Bonds, including the issuance of bonds by PT Freeport Indonesia, which provided fresh funds of US$3 billion.
