To introduce Livin’ by Mandiri Superapp, integrated financial services which can make financial management easier to Indonesian Migrant Worker (PMI), MOST by Mandiri Sekuritas joined Livin’ Around the World (part of “Mandiri Sahabatku” program by Bank Mandiri) goes to Seoul, South Korea (24/6).
Darmawan Junaidi, President Director of Bank Mandiri, said, “Bank Mandiri encourages our services to become totally digitalized to provide convenient one stop solutions including enabling Livin’ by Mandiri to be accessible to Indonesians from around the world”.
Meanwhile, Mandiri Sekuritas’ Director of Retail, Theodora Manik, who attended the event, opened discussion with PMI to provide clearer picture on how easy to invest through MOST by Mandiri Sekuritas which has been integrated to Livin’ by Bank Mandiri. Theodora said, “One of the many benefits of the integration is that everyone can access their account and transact by using their local SIM Card. With this kind of convenience, we hope that other than increasing their investment growth, customers’ investment will also increase investment volume in the Indonesian capital market, and thus, contribute to the growth of national economy.”
One of the PMIs, Rio Santoso (29 years) expressed his experience in using MOST to grow his investment to CNBC Indonesia, “At first, I started with small amount of investment in 2022 to 2023, because I was still learning and trying. However, with the integration of MOST to Livin’ it is now easier for me to find information, invest, and monitor my investment performance. Up to today, I’ve grown my stocks portfolio to almost Rp400 million.”
South Korea offers big potential and is an interesting destination for Indonesians. Not only for the PMI, but in 2023, it is recorded that around 250,000 Indonesian tourists visited South Korea. According to Badan National Penempatan dan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (BP2MI), the number of PMI reached 12,580 placements in 2023.
Other than Seoul, MOST and Livin’ Around the World have visited Doha, Qatar in January 2024.
