Jakarta, 24 May, 2022 - PT Mandiri Sekuritas (Mandiri Sekuritas/the Company) announced that the Company's President Commissioner Mirza Adityaswara (Mirza) has submitted his resignation from his position Monday, 23 May, 2022 after serving since 25 June, 2020. Following his resignation, Mandiri Sekuritas has appointed Arief Ariyana as Acting President Commissioner.

During nearly two years in office, Mirza has led Mandiri Sekuritas to record the strongest financial performance in the history of the Company. Mandiri Sekuritas' operating income in 2020 was recorded at IDR794 billion, an increase of 21% compared to the same period in 2019. Meanwhile, net profit in 2020 was recorded at IDR135.4 billion, an increase of 45% compared to the same period the previous year. Meanwhile, as of 31 December, 2021, Mandiri Sekuritas' operating revenues increased 55% to Rp1,234 trillion compared to the same period in 2020. The Company's net profit increased significantly as of 31 December, 2021 by 137% to Rp321 billion compared to the same period in 2020.

Responding to his resignation, Mirza said, "I am very grateful to the Shareholders of Mandiri Sekuritas who have provided the opportunity to oversee the Company in growing strong during this challenging time of pandemic. I also thank the Directors of Mandiri Sekuritas who have worked closely together, so that they were able to lay a stronger business foundation and record higher business results. I am confident that Mandiri Sekuritas' solid and extensively experienced Directors and team will continue to be able to record strong business growth going forward, which will meet the financial needs of their clients and customers."
