Jakarta, 19 May 2023 – PT Mandiri Sekuritas (Mandiri Sekuritas/Company) officially announced the appointment of Hoesen as President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner, replacing Mirza Adityaswara who was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in 2022 last year. Hoesen’s assignment as the President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner has been approved by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on 17 February 2023 and by the Agreement of General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) Circular on 16 May 2023.
Hoesen has more than 30 years of experience in the Indonesian financial industry and previously served as Chief Executive of the Capital Market and the Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Furthermore, Hoesen’s series of previous experiences includes serving as Commissioner of PT Danareksa Capital, Commissioner of PT Danareksa Investment Management, Director of PT Danareksa (Company), Director Company Valuation of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia and President Director of PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI).

As of the first quarter of 2023, Mandiri Sekuritas continued to maintain its dominance in the Indonesian capital market by occupying the #1 position for Equity Underwriting with a 15.3% market share, #1 for Global Bond Underwriting with 20% market share and #2 in terms of IDR Bond Underwriting with 12% market share. Moreover, in the first quarter of 2023, Mandiri Sekuritas has also successfully completed several strategic transactions including: 6 Equity Underwriting and Related, 10 IDR Bond Underwriting and Related, 4 Global Bond Underwriting and 6 Advisory.
